RECORDING EFFORT: Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic, Georgia Unit, would like to thank the community for its support of Record-a-Thon 2009. Almost 250 volunteers contributed 385 hours to record educational materials that will be used by print-disabled students in Georgia and the United States. Special thanks go to the dozens of local businesses who donated sponsorships, door prizes and refreshments. Lions Clubs throughout Georgia (including the Athens Lions Club and the Classic City Lions Club) donated more than $14,000.
